2-3 years ago it looked like there might be an opening with Trump and the movements in Europe. But it now seems the political and cultural momentum was completely captured by civic nationalists. Their support in the West must be now 20-30%. They filled the void and are now delivering white people the new answers they yearn for. But why has white nationalism in contrast remained as marginal as ever if not even gone backwards. And what can be done about it? What have we done wrong? Why have we failed? How would you make white nationalism more palatable and appealing to whites than it currently is judging by its results?

Civic nationalism at first is more appealing as it doesn't require a hard line stance or any dirty methods. It will show to be nothing more than a slight bump in the road to globalist domination, and as civic nationalist movements in Europe fail to deliver results and the great repleacement continues unabated the people will turn to extreme movements. The communists and globalists will grow in power initally but white nationalist parties will start to grow in power as the people become sick of failed nationalism and globalism. We simply need to bide our time. It will get worse before it gets better.

Finland remains 97-98% white, but there is no visible and conscious white identity. Even Sweden is still 90% white, although their African+Islamic population is approaching 1 million and is very young and fecund while for white Swedes it is the opposite. So by 2050 they could be only ~75% white.

I have observed this group of people from the outside for years in different languages and have tried to study and analyse it, mostly in terms of psychology, and can agree with much of what you say. The personality profile of a stereotypical Jow Forums user is highly atypical. While 2-3% of all white males are on the autism spectrum, for Jow Forums it is approx. 50%. And unfortunately I have to agree with Baron-Cohen and others who have studied it, lack of empathy is one of the key diagnostic characteristics. This most fundamental trait of Jow Forums is heightened by three additional factors.
1. Empathy is very much an ingroup feature, and was group-selected for. Outside of close kin we project it to a group (tribe in EEA) we identify with. In a polarized ingroup-outgroup confrontation, which can be a fully imaginary reality of the human mind (cf. the famous studies showing this), empathy for the ingroup is projected into hatred for the outgroup (thus the ever present warfare in human past). To make it worse polarization has a tendency to feed itself and spiral out of control. As it is rewarding. The bigger the projection of the Devil you are up against, the more important your cause in reflection.
2. In an anonymous environment social norms and inhibitions pertaining to civility are severely weakened. A very small minority here would say with their own name and face what they say on Jow Forums from behind the mask of anonymity. This eradicates restrains on feeding extremism.
3. The autistic people and other social outcasts on Jow Forums come to identify Jow Forums as a surrogate peer-group, something they can refer to as 'we' and 'us'. It's something most here have lacked and found it difficult to function in in the so-called real world and people on the autistic spectrum aren't entirely hermits by nature. Jow Forums has attraction, whether conscious or unconscious, to many of these people in its offer of a replacement peer-group to fill the longing.
Are you for real? That's usually 100-200 people per video. Very active commentators with lot of time on their hands, upvoting and backing each other. Most of them probably active here too. Very much the same people from one video to the next. It's the same as SJWs on the Twitter, although their numbers are hundred times stronger. They can easily give 100k upvotes for a comment.
