An interesting angle. I myself lack insight (no time to read up on that stuff) in the stuff beyond the maybe 10-yrs-ago horizon. I think the frontlines are currently between the old established money with its sligh reek of death and English tea and a smart network of 'upstarts' who knew how to push and play the disregulation of the markets correctly, especially after USSR crumbled. A vendetta worthy of an opera. I have a weird feeling that some previous happenings somehow tie into this (educated gut feeling again) ... Occupy Wall Street feels like some starting point to me but that quickly got abondoned/abrogated for reasons. I think they noticed that the 'Zivilgesellschaft' proved to be a tool that quickly blunts. The useful idiots are a liability in the end ... they did not choose them wisely.

I can just tell you that the elite of the multiplicators are leaving berlin from the IT area... these people get lead/staff level jobs at top tech companies outside of Germany, so that loss essentially means that projects will not get pulled (you cannot run on only junior level pajeets, not enough dumb money to EXIT your shit startup anymore).
I asked them why and the things they say is "Berlin is cold", "negative perspective" etc. but usually they are leftist just fleeing from what they saw "everybody should come in".
