I like Hitler's point about how the people we appoint to office are politicians who often have no clue about the technicalities of their jobs outside of pencil pushing. And its better to appoint a well seasoned farmer to lead the nations agriculture, or a tenured docture to be in charge of the nations medical faculties. If someone were to come along that would have the required knowledge in all fields necessary theyd have to be a genius. Since such genuises are rather rare, being only one or two per generation, and furthermore theyd have to be of the same nation and run for office and even a stretch further...win against established financial powers. You'd have a better time fitting a camel through the eye of a needle. In that way, democracy has failed.

Jews are a surprisingly small part of it. The opening biography is the most interesting part, esp. How Hitler started off anti anti-Semitic. He talks a lot about the hypocrisy of the soc dems, and a lot of that language could be transplanted wholesale 100 years later and be equally valid. His description of Vienna is reminiscent of many cities like San Francisco today. He lays out his foreign policy plans, which consist of teaming up with Britain and creating Lebensraum to the East. Never really explains why Britain would go along with this. Try reading it sometime, Hitler has an evident passion behind everything he says, but he enjoys repeating himself, and has some very obvious blind spots.
