I'm pretty convinced most of Jow Forums is straight illiterate. They don't read. They can't think critically. They just repeat memes by people who obviously can.
A good majority of Jow Forums here seems to get it's ideas from videos. They proudly boast about not watching TV but spend hours listening to random whatever talking about non-nonsensical shit on Youtube. They don't have first hand information themselves doing this, just relying on others to think for them so they don't actually understand terms and ideas and concepts. For instance I used the term "supply and demand" in a thread about economics and got told I was a Marxist... That's when I realized the person just literally had no education or reading in economics and just reacted to words they see liberals on the Internet use or something.
That's what I mean about illiterate too, not having the basic knowledge of terms, words, phrases one would pick up on if one read books on those subjects. Not too mention how horrible the grammar is here and how people let them get away with it, but become grammar Nazi's when someone actually puts effort into their grammar and slips up. Good grammar appreciation comes with reading, because you're aware of making your writing readable sense you read a lot.
