None of this refutes what I said, wages for some might be stagnant but the relative cost of goods and the quality of those goods is vastly greater today.
Food, Clothing, Cars, Electronics, appliances and furniture is all relatively cheaper today than it was in the 70's and 80's and earlier.
Houses are not cheaper but the quality and sizes of your average home has increased significantly as well as the finishes and materials in those homes being of a greater quality.
The claim that Americans are worse off because of wage stagnation is bullshit and doesn't take everything into account.

Plenty of US cities peaked in population more than half a century ago. There is plenty more room in urban America. Dense housing actually should be lower cost per unit, but no one want to live in a poor black neighborhood, which is what too much of US cities have become.
We could have kept our cities if we had invested in integrated public housing 50 years ago*, but instead we left it up to the market and let the real estate speculators ensure that only small pockets of cities would be safe/desirable.
*or prevented the problem in the first place by using eugenics to ensure that the low IQ populations did not reproduce.
