So lots of conspiracy theories going around today that the chinese babies made to genetically resist AIDS is some first step to make some grand global plan: basically that china makes super flu, vaccinates their own people, and then releases it around the world so everyone dies and they alone rule the world. but 2 big problems here:
1. Most viruses are not super lethal naturally, and if you create a virus with an almost 100% kill rate, the virus hosts will die so quick that it will not have enough time to spread beyond at most a few hundred people
2. putting #1 aside, a plan like that would not be unnoticed by the rest of the world as people drop like flys and the chinese people are perfectly fine. if that were to happen the rest of the world would take notice and say "hey china, vaccine now or we nuke you entirely since we are gonna die anyways"
