I'm British but married a Canadian. She is from a rural part of Ontario which is heavily farm territory which is heavily menonite/amish (although we are Catholic). It is overwhelmingly white, rural, socially conservative. It's the Canada I feared had disappeared.
Should I consider moving to Canada with her? I would never move to Toronto or anything, but are conserative parts of Canada worth it? Or is the government and migration patterns too large to have hope?
