What the FUCK is wrong with Americans?

This stuff should never be fucked around with. Not even testing.

More junk that will sit on a shelf and never get used in combat.

If we didn't do it then another superpower would have
This is the great filter. We'll eventually get nanoparticle drones and just kill each other

Battlefield decisions, as in shoot anything that doesn't have some kind of detection from our side. How will it recognize civilians?

>implying there's no way through the great filter and humans aren't just the men for the job

This

We've had them since the 90's.

AI is already better than any human at chess. You think AI are already better at real life war strategy?

it won't

>How will it recognize civilians?
By using a sensor. How else could it accurately shoot at them?

This kind of technology reminds me of nuclear weapons. It is a deterrent to a global war outbreak. It should be tested with the proper precautions but this kind of weapon will be used when nukes are used.

no, because chess is limited in scope due to movesets, while actual reality is limitless with the number of moves you can make.

>sensors can detect peoples nationality and intent from the sky

But in-flight automatic missile target redestribution is old news
Unless it can designate non-obvious combat targets, but then question would be howd you possibly decide that in this bakery is actually a weapons storage if humans cant

>”””battlefield decisions”””
This is probably way less important or interesting than you all think it is

I'm sure war AI is already capable of being better than 99% of people, maybe even a large amount of actual professionals too. It'll only be a few more years until AI are undoubtedly better.

Fuck you. DARPA Boston Dynamics robot soldiers are the future. 100 years from now they will patrol the barren wastelands that used to be China and Russia where no people live anymore.

With the precision of our actions and actions of all our tools being limited we actually have a finite amount of possible predictably differentiatable moves, although extremely large its finite nonetheless

Translation: The missiles can sense troop movement, current validity of targets, and sense new ones. This is limited in scope, it's not like we send them loose and say "go blow something up". The parameters and limitations are strictly defined.

War with China NOW

Research the Elon Musk DOTA AI. People dedicate their entire career to an esport then gets destroyed by an AI. I'm sure an AI is a faster and better learner than a human and would easily be better at decision making than a human.

BLEEP BLOOP BLEEP
-Warm Body Detected-
Skin Colour: Brown
Intent: Not Applicable
Action: Kill

What a none issue.

The gap between capabilities is the same as it was 1000 years ago.

You with what ever you can legally get your hands on is about as powerful as a peasant with a wooden stick against a knight in full armor on a horse in full armor.

It will recognize civilians and then shoot them sandniggers

That information is irrelevant to the calculation of a targeting solution.
More likely though, pic related will be used

Wooooooosh

Video games are the same thing as chess. They are limited in scope, where x input always will lead to x output, unless a glitch happens, which a person could use to beat AI

If the US doesn't do it, some brown retard will.

You morons. These "drones" are nor more than UAV's or missiles. They function together not alone that is the only difference between them and a bunch of missiles. There is no true AI guiding them and they are not made to be used in civilian areas. They are designed primarily for main battle activities to either engulf and saturate enemy air defenses or confuse targeting systems. Working together as a group is also nothing new. Russian GRANIT form the 80's:
>The missile, when fired in a swarm (group of 4–8) has a unique guidance mode. One of the weapons climbs to a higher altitude and designates targets while the others attack. The missile responsible for target designation climbs in short pop-ups, so as to be harder to intercept. The missiles are linked by data connections, forming a network. If the designating missile is destroyed the next missile will rise to assume its purpose. Missiles are able to differentiate targets, detect groups and prioritize targets automatically using information gathered during flight and types of ships and battle formations pre-programmed in an onboard computer.

Nothing new here, just miniaturized drones working together to accomplish a battlefield objective.

Controlled drones are fine against goat herders, but if you ever go up against an enemy with good jamming technology they have to have some autonomous decision making.
Whatever you do just don't make them self fueling/rearming/repairing/manufacturing.

Real life has a limited amount of movements and decisions, simply more vast than video games.

>Germanistanians can't recognize the difference between a combat scenario and everyday life
Kekked.

>How will it recognize civilians?

That's not the drone's job, it's God's.

You obviously never been to post-enrichement Germany

chips

Are these drones quantum communicated via a pilot helmet + shoots lasers?

>solo lane dota
that's like taking chess and removing all the pieces except the pawns, then calling it better than humans. The complex part of dota is coordinating with teammates and team fights.

also AI will obviously know how to perfectly CS in dota, which isn't very interesting since that's just a better reaction time.
so as long as the bot isn't completely retarded and overextending, they can gain an gold advantage over a human.

The bots can calculate if their spells would insta kill target or not on the fly.

>>American keyboard warriors will forever claim that their brave, valiant soldiers, who were sent
>>to a war zone by faceless cowards, cannot possibly be expected to behave like humans
...so could AI Swarming Drones be worse?

OP's kind of attitude isn't going to expand the empire.
We get 8 billion of these, we can clear out all the trash in the world we own.
Bye bye shitskins, faggots, commies, and cucks.
>

Unless it decides to wake up.

Amen. Good bye you fucking kruats.

There were full team matches played as well. The ai lost against top players at the international though.

Meh. We've known this was on the way for nearly 30 years

They're not allowed to have the AI pull the trigger, it must always be a human pulling the trigger. Anything else is kosher.

yeah i just looked it up that's a bit more recent. More impressive than I was initially saying, but a lot of the difficulty in dota (and most computer games) is mechanics which is trivial for any dumb bot. Their decision making is still quite a bit worse than the pros

If it's brown shoot it down.

Yes, but there isn't anything "AI" about that. That's just basic bot shit you can find in any game.

Fuck off China propaganda branch. Just because you gooks didn't figure this out first.

If you asshole bugmen got this first, you would be posting articles celebrating it: "China's WORLD FIRST QUANTUM™ Drone Swarm!!!!!!".

TL;DR: Suck my dick you obvious propagandist.

Jow Forums is fucking unbearable now that governments are aware of it, I swear.
