I only played some civ 5. It was fun while it lasted, but the ai was pathetically bad so the devs just give the ai cheating abilities to make up for it and balance it out with human players. If they only needed to do it a little that would be one thing, but it's like they weren't even trying.
After a while I was disgusted by it and quit playing, they aren't getting my money for a dumbed down cartoonish looking sequel.

If you're paying civ 6 instead of Civ v you're fucking up. Civ V has these mods:
>WoW civs
>LotR civs
>Elder Scrolls civs
>Hitler mod
>Several stalins
>Fucking USSR from Red Alert 2 and the Allies
>Holy Tsar Nicholas II
It's the only civ you'll ever need. Civ VI looks okay but it's a disgrace.

Civ 4 with Realism Invictus mod is Civ as it was meant to be played. 5 & 6 were pretty much downgrades
