All the pregnant women got automatically assigned a doctor for their pregnancy follow up, but we always ended up having to keep them as a regular patient. Of course they asked to sign up their other children, husband and parents to our clinic, which for some reason was always accepted.
Meanwhile in the hospital down the street, old, sick, people had to go to the ER because they had no family doctor.

I used to live and work in Banff, great town. Because it is touristy, everything is more expensive. Be ready for that.
