I was nearly attacked by a pitbull too when I was a kid by a neighbors psycho dog, luckily I had a skateboard to block the thing from biting my legs but it was repeatedly lunging at me. I love my girlfriends sheltie so much, she was nervous around me at first but once she got used to me she is so loving and gentle.
