1. Kids these days are raised on vidya and the internet. Vidyagaems are pretty mainstream now and kids start playing them really young. That includes FPSs and other games which heavily feature real guns (yes, even shit like Fortnite). As those kids grow up a decent percentage of them are going to end up being interested in guns, especially the same kinds of guns they had in their video games, meaning as the boomer fudds die off a larger percentage of gun owners are going to be proud owners of scary black plastic rifles and will be helping to steer political policy to cater to their wants.
In addition, resources like Youtube offer never before seen levels of exposure to guns and shooting to kids and adults alike. Prior to the internet the only way to get any kind of realistic experience with guns was to either own one, know someone who owned one, or read one of those shitty gun rags that had articles about how revolvers with lasers were going to be the next big thing. Now people in even the liberalist of liberal shitholes are one click away from watching Hickock45 plug a bunch of 2 liters with the latest and greatest AR variant or from watching Ian fully explain and disassemble some Teutonic clockwork monstrosity that the Germans tried to issue as a ruggedized survival rifle during the First World War. More avenues are avaliable to get people interested in guns than ever before as as the community keeps growing so too will those online resources.
2. There are more people and groups fighting harder for gun rights than ever before. There are literally dozens of gun rights groups fighting gun laws in the courts, at the ballot box, and in the legislatures. NRA membership is at record highs (inb4 "the NRA are cucked fudds", yeah maybe, but I'm using their numbers as a general metric) and their are more organizations to join than ever before (GOA, SAF, state level groups, etc). More people fighting for gun rights is always a good thing, and as these organizations grow so too will their impact on policy and law.
3. We've won in the past and we can win again. There was a federal assault weapons ban in place for 10 whole years. Through the efforts of gun owners and gun rights groups it was allowed to expire. Handgun bans have been legally ruled unconstitutional. Carry rights have been doing nothing but expand over the last 30 years. The SCOTUS has clearly ruled that the individual has the right to keep and bear arms, not "the collective" (whatever the fuck thatvwas supposed to mean). These are major victories that we shouldn't forget about when dumb blackpillers claim guns rights will be gone within a decade. Despite claims to the contrary it's never too late to "turn back the clock" on gun control.
4. The courts lean in our favor. Trump may be a faggot in regards to a lot of things but he's still appointing conservative, constitutionalist judges left and right to the federal benches. This is vital to our cause as these courts are often the crucible in which our gun rights are tested. Let's also not forget about the possibility that SCOTUS might well be a 6-4 conservative majority within the next few years.
5. Mass shootings are probably a fad. The biggest threat to gun rights right now are sheltered suburbanites afraid that one day they're going to see Little Timmy's school pop up on the local news because that neighbor kid they were always suspicious about found his dad's Glock and decided to go out in a blaze of glory by icing Stacy and her friends for turning down his advances. Luckily, mass shootings are rare and hopefully as stuff like Columbine passes from memory to history they'll become even more rare as less and less faggots seek to copy such acts for attention.
6. A lot of the key figures in the gun control movement are at death's door. Hillary is 71, Bloomberg is 76, Feinstein is 85. All of these people will be dead in the next few decades. Of course that doesn't mean the end of gun control, but it does mean that antigunners will lack a cohesive and unifying voice for their movement. Yes, people like La Goblina de Atrocidad are probably going to be with us for somes time but considering she's already made a fool of herself more than once and people are already starting to forget about her I doubt people like her will be a major factor in the coming years.
In short, any faggot who comes onto Jow Forums and claims that you wont be able to own a BB gun in 20 years is either a lying retard or a shill trying to demoralize you.
There are more guns in America than people. The 2nd Amendment is not going anywhere.

Federal rights mean nothing when they're initiating and succeeding on a per-state basis. That's been their plan ever since the AWB expired, and it's working.
The new operus mondi for gun-grabbers is to push the issue directly to the people until they get what they want. Look at what happened in Washington and what they're trying to do in Florida by making gun-control initiatives something the people vote in directly. All the education in the world will mean nothing when people vote yes on all constitutional amendments, including a gun ban, because they want to be over with it all or "they sound nice".
The courts have been unwilling to touch any cases regarding guns for several years, likely for PR purposes. What makes you think that conservative judges being appointed is suddenly going to make the SC jump on gun cases all of the sudden?
The only light in all of this is that, ironically, handguns are more protected than rifles thanks to DC vs Heller.
