Stan and Roger are the best characters, and this wasn't their plan. After the 3rd season the show stopped being so 'political', and got funny. It's clear it took a direction of it's own. Taking this path, the ended up make some good jokes.They end up defending the family and making Stan make some really good points.
American Dad, different from Family Guy, has morals, and a moral to every episode. It leans to the left sometimes, but not always.
AD is the only adult cartoon I enjoyed.
