What I've noticed is that the most emotionally racist peoples tend to lead toward the most race mixed societies. Think southern and even western Europeans.
People who are less overtly racist tend to have homogeneous societies. Eastern Euro, and to a greater extent even East Asian.
I feel like there are two different types of racism, one where people chimp out their emotions, and one where people just hold it as a self evident truth and don't really care about it. Eastern people tend towards the latter, western towards the former.
