The trick with real criminals is proving that they own ANYTHING. My job is based around civil judgements (child support and alimony mostly) and most guys on my caseload, while not criminals per se, are total dirtbags who (on paper) don't own shit. Bank account? That's his mom's. Apartment and all the shit inside? That's his girlfriend's (along with the car too). It's a real pain in the dick.
