Yes, but also so mega corps like Walmart can't exist in the first place, ever growing, ever lowering prices to push out the smaller corps. The net worth of the owners is also tied to the size of their enterprise, and not necessarily just how much money they have. Increase the workers wage and it decreases their ability to expand and lower prices. People stop shopping there as often if the prices aren't low enough. Stores close, people lose their shit jobs.

The largest part of that is its being cheap. If the overhead of the fast food joint is higher, the food will be more expensive.
Really dumb unskilled people can put dollar chickens together and sweep floors - if you want to make more money, you can work in a market where people value your labor more as a natural consequence of producing goods and services that command a higher price.

The problem with that idea is that any employee only generates so much revenue, and for minimum wage employees the net profit per hour they generate is already pretty slim. Thus raising the minimum wage either means that each of those jobs becomes a net loss for the company, or since minimum wage is applied across the board, the entire economy raises their prices in tandem and you haven't actually gained the minimum wage employee any purchasing power.

The real problem is that the minimum wage employees don't generate much income and are thus expendable and in a shit negotiating position.

Minimum wage should exist, but it shouldn't be ridiculously high. Where I live, minimum wage used to be $11.60 leafbux per hour, in january it was raised to $14 per hour, which I believe is too high. The original plan by our previous liberal (provincial) government was to raise it to $15 this coming january, but thankfully our new conservative government wont let that happen.

Anyone who has a basic understanding of economics or even math will know that increasing minimum wage beyond the rate of inflation won't do anything to help anyone, and will only cause harm. If you force businesses to increase their operating cost by paying employees more, they will find ways to recover that lost profit. Be it by making things more expensive, cutting hours, hiring less staff, or reducing the quality of the products/services they provide. I used to get paid slightly above minimum wage just before the $14 came into effect. Once that happened, the department I worked in reduced their operating hours. The reduction in hours ended up actually saving them money. They were paying less in wages because of the reduced hours despite everyone getting a raise of more than $2 per hour.

TL;DR: super high minimum wage results in basically the same income, if not less, AND a higher cost of living. How is making less money and spending more good?

Raising the minimum wage will only continue to lower the value of the dollar. The most important thing to know about our economic climate is we are on FIAT CURRENCY. This means the Jews that own the Federal Reserve can literally crash the USD at a whim and other currencies as well around the world. They control the purchasing power and inflation and interest rates to keep you in poverty, and since they own the media, blame it on minimum wage. Cadillacs cost $7,000 in the 70s. We added in extra 0 to the price in less than 5 decades. Raising the inflation rates through higher min wage is really counterproductive.
