The holocaust may have not happened but if it ends up being false then it's better for the Jews. The holocaust (even in legend) really hurt the Jews as a group worldwide. Many Jews turned atheist after WWII because of it. "Why did the holocaust happen?" is a common question Jews ask to their rabbis only to get non-committal "lol idk" responses before they give up on the religion altogether.

No matter how you view the holocaust there is a conspiracy theory needed to explain it. You believe in a conspiracy by the nazis to gas all the jews, and conspiracy to hide all evidence of it. While given that there is no evidence of the holocaust and people always lie about their enemy's atrocities in wars, it barely is a conspiracy theory to assume the holocaust is ww2 propaganda. The idea that we could speak about that war, the supposed holocaust or the nazis in any unbiased way is beyond belief, especially as we openly have laws in place forbidding it

The major reason boomers believed in the Holocaust was that they were all hooked in to a hierarchical, centralised, mass-media organism which fed them a constantly supply of 'documentaries' about the Holocaust. I think with the internet as things are today, the average normie growing up doesn't consume that constant supply of propaganda AND they have a more 'lateral' exchange of information on and about the subject.
