>Syrian Army sends entire 5th Legion to southern Idlib The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) sent a large number of reinforcements to the Hama and Idlib provinces, today, in response to the latest hostilities from the jihadist rebels. According to a military source in the nearby city of Mhardeh, the Syrian Arab Army sent the entire 5th Legion to northern Hama and southern Idlib after completing their mission in the Al-Safa region of southern Syria. The source said that the 5th Legion received orders on Tuesday to pack up their gear and head north to the Hama Governorate because the situation along the Idlib demilitarized zone is deteriorating. The 5th Legion was one of the major forces behind the Syrian Arab Army’s successful operation against the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) terrorist organization in the Al-Safa region.
So it seems the rumour of ex-FSA in Daraa (now in the 5th) heading to the Idlib front was true.
