Honestly there's a number of things that can lead to a woman having this sort of lifestyle. Nine times out of ten it's because they were raised with parents that weren't that strict and could do whatever they want. Other times it's the exact opposite and they're trying to be rebellious.

I do think things have changed in that respect, and the single biggest change has to do with social pressure. A while back, there was a tremendous amount of social pressure for women to remain virgins until marriage, so many did exactly that.
