The thing is that Soviet communism was like that too when it started. Lenin and Trotsky were notorious degenerates and they espoused sexual liberation, abortion, no fault divorce, feminism etc. Once the soviets went through that experience + the hardships of WWII that shit was quickly crushed by Stalin because he saw the danger of it. Eventually that was even used by the KGB to subvert the west.
Once Stalin died and was denounced by the governments that followed, the soviets went degenerate again for a while and got a reminder of what that leads to. Fast forward to the 80s and you have that famous line said by a soviet woman interviewed on American TV which shocked you yanks so much- "there is no sex in the USSR".
