He was also a loudmouth and a drunk, and the CIA ended up sending a team of Colombians to kill Seal because at one point he was threatening to expose CIA drug operations.
The Columbian hit team was arrested, and a New Orleans lawyer named Sam Dalton represented the hitmen at trial. As part of his defense, Sam Dalton forced the government to turn over the contents of Barry Seal's trunk, and it was there that Dalton found Vice President George Bush's unlisted phone number. That would suggest that Vice President Bush was in direct contact with Barry Seal, the biggest drug trafficker in the US, and that suggests Bush was no better than a drug trafficker while he was VP.
The media will fake-mourn this glownigger, but he is directly, personally responsible for the hellish open border situation and drug cartel situation we're dealing with today, more than any politician in the US, living or dead. The reason the cartels dominate south america and Mexico and the reason our border is open and officials are corrupt to this day is because Bush set up a system specifically to bypass other American agencies like the DEA, which were tasked with breaking drug trafficking. They all know the CIA was trafficking drugs, but nobody could stop it because the traffickers in multiple countries were protected at the very highest levels. You know what's also funny is that the DEA knew who was doing what and couldn't do anything about it. It's not just average citizens who are aware of what kingpin cartel leader Bush did. There are plenty of people who were in south and central america tasked with drug enforcement watching Bush's personal trafficking operations and not able to do anything about it. If you remember at the time the cold was was still very active, and the USSR still had ICBMs targetted on our cities. It was imperative for us to keep them from recruiting commies in South America at the time, and while we were not 100% successful, it was enough to keep them from getting a beach head. You can shit on Bush all you want, but he prevented the domino-effect of Communism from blazing through S. America.
