Hey Spain Jow Forums, how would you describe your average national identity? I know its quite strongly Celtic in the north, but about the middle and south?
Is it like a combination of Germanic and Roman in the middle (like France, North Italy, and Britain), and Arabic in places like Extremadura/Andalucia?

It's celtic in the north, primarily galicia and as for germanic (visigothic?) I can't really say and my family is from Castilla La Mancha and grandparents staying in Madrid. There's some odinist pagan circles that are legally acknowladged in spain and in fact I think oldest after icelands own iirc.

I was always curious about the national identity of these sorts of places that have been influenced by several groups of people, and it seems the combination of different influences carves a unique identity for those sorts of countries.
I'm going to travel to the places I have documented ancestry from next summer, and along with Oxfordshire and Glasgow, I'm planning on visiting Andalucia and Murcia.
