This general is for the discussion of the current situation of Latin America from a comfy right wing perspective. The current topic is the recent take of power from AMLO as Mexican president. Mexica anons please share info on your new president to find out if he is /ourguy/ or one of (((them))).
This fucker cannot EVER be /ourguy/. Even if he's clearly a faux-leftist, it's been made clear that he's only looking after his own interests and those of his inner circle.
Daniel Collins
To elaborate, this guy was in campaign for more than 15 years, always saying that whoever is in charge is doing a terrible job and he'd do it better. Armmed with a marxist rethoric, he always appealed to the feelings of the "underdog mass", but the real works for him to get the presidency were done at the universities, where a lot of young people were programmed into chairos (that's mexican for "lefty NPC").
Basically, just look up for the videos of him protesting when he didn't won the governorship of his own home state. AMLO is just a new rebranding of the system
Lincoln Sanchez
So, this new Mexican president is gonna ruin Mexico or not? I've read he is a leftist but he is anti-immigrant and he and Trump could agree on that.
Robert Bell
He's just a rebranding of the system, business as usual
Justin Watson
So, nothing will change huh, not even for the worse?
Kayden Russell
He promised:
-Free college education. -Doubling retaree monthly payout. -Disable payout double. -He is going to hire and pay 2.3 million young adults for aprentenships. -Build oil refineries to not have to import and lowering gasoline price. -He some how said he will not cater to the rich class. -Wants to preserve Mexican culture. -Said he is not going to raise taxes and or increase the national debt.
My favorite part is how the rich news caster after the speech he said in disgust how is he going to pay for all of this, he cant say he is going to pay for all these stuff and reduce the national debt.
It's clear that the rich Mexicans are shitting their pants right now. Trump has to build that wall, socialism does not work and if it drops hard in Mexico we could be seeing millions at our souther border.

Checked.
Andrew Nguyen
Also he made reference to changing the Mexican constitution.
Alexander Parker
Resumen: ojalá le rebajen el salario a los huelguistas del mep, con eso de cubre el déficit fiscal en CR
Gabriel Evans
Why would it? As bad as the economy could get, it always bounces back. And the revolution meme is dead and buried.
Landon Robinson
Mexican media hated him as much as the us media hated trump. He was investigated but they never found dirt on him. People from the Mexico city say that he was a great mayor and really did alot to better the city. I've seen him I have heard his complete speeches. This man is based as fuck.
Of course he did. Changing the constitution as soon as you get into power is one of the maxims of the Sao Paulo forum.
Oliver Gomez
Well to be quite honest I picked integralism because of the fash aesthetics, I have noticed many Brazilians despise that party. Maybe you could give me some more context on that, or suggest some other right wing party with fascist/conservative roots.
