still no new horde pics, weren't they planning something for today?

Trump terminating Rosenstein directly would be against 'the law' as we know it. He could fight it in SCOTUS, but precedent is against him there. Terminating AG Sessions *is* his both right and power as POTUS, I agree. It's the Senate that held him in check there, by supralegal/constitutional means as you say. Congress may argue that they're a co-equal branch, etc etc. and are entitled to do it, but Trump has the Constitution on his side and Trump would probably win in the end if the Congress attempted to cock-block him for firing Sessions.
You're right in that he's voluntarily not doing all he could, technically speaking, he is holding back on some of his assumed Article II powers -- but those are also the most dicey to defend in court, and the most open to """judicial interpretation."""
So for a hypothetical, for a victory with an early forced firing of Sessions to shut down Mueller it'd be a bloody SCOTUS fight. It might not be worthwhile to do that in Trump's view for now, considering he really has done nothing wrong by all accounts so far. It would set him on an openly adversarial path against the low marginRep Senators, which are squirrelly enough. If impeachment is raised in the House (and I think it will be... the Dems can't help themselves) that makes his surviving less likely. It's not giving up so much as picking battles. Again look at what Flake et al are wanting to do with 'protecting Mueller' still, and his voting NO on every judicial pick. These fucking RINOs are as bad as the Dems.
user, I think we're arguing the same thing in the end - that the corruption etc. was done by those opposed to Trump and they need to be brought to justice. I want to see them all fucking hang. I think doing it by the way of the "high road" will ensure it happens AND it sticks in the courts with no chance of appeal... it just takes longer to get there and it's especially shitty when you know the opposition are lying and cheating at every turn.

>what's the 322 referencing? So, according to Skull and Bones lore, and this is something that both Senator Kerry and president bush would have learned, in 322 B.C., a Greek orator died. When he died, the goddess Eulogia, the goddess, whom Skull and Bones called the goddess of eloquence, arose to the heavens and didn't happen to come back down until 1832, when she happened to take up residence in the tomb of Skull and Bones. Now Skull and Bones does everything in deference to this goddess. They have songs or they call them that sacred anthems that they sing when they are encouraged to steal things, some remarkably valuable items, supposedly, they are said to be bringing back gifts to the goddess. They begin each session in the tomb, and they meet twice weekly by unveiling a sort of a guilt shrine to Eulogia. That's the point of the society. They call themselves the Knights of Eulogia. That's where the 322 comes in.
>Trump has said of Cohen, his personal lawyer of 12 years, that he is a “weak person and not a very smart person.” Asked why he kept him around so long, he told reporters, “A long time ago, he did me a favor.”
>do favor >work for guy for 12 years and two years through his presidency That must have been some favor. What do you think it was?

I get where you are coming from, but this 'high road' is what the Right has been doing for decades and it will always fail. The whole time you are waiting and trying to find the best possible time to move forward, you are surrendering the initiative to the enemy. And that enemy will attack you in a thousand new ways while you are trying to neatly respond to the first attack. Meanwhile, your supporters tune out more and more because all they see are the enemy attacks and you twiddling your thumbs. The bloody messy fight is always better than sitting still, the less than ideal move is always better than being stationary while the opposition moves freely. Everything Trump does provokes an enemy response, but by not acting you are not preventing enemy attacks, rather you are granting the enemy total freedom of movement.
