I used to work at factories and manual labor but since i had taught myself aol proggie shit when i was 13 and take a few code classes, i have managed to land a job with a post startup tech company. The product is a hit and is growing and we definately work. I get paid to travel now and I am learning a lot about business. Many of the other employees are pretty damn left wing.

We all do work hard, though and many times we do overtime or weekend stuff. Its not like these kids in the video who are chilling all day. But it never compares to the factories or manual labor. I love moving and hands on for work, but often time those factory jobs don't teach you much to improve your overall career game, so my current job is a blessing - Much better than getting a bachelors in business or tech because I'm actually getting paid to learn the shit.

Yeah, I am not a developer although I am just beginning to get into some development and engineering. I am mainly a technician, head of production and shipping. We have a main developer, an engineer and a jr. developer who has to do other things besides development. They all get shit done and have beer at the office one Friday per month. But its nothing like homeboy in the vid who seems to be enjoying recreation and free food just for coming in and commenting out a few lines of code... lucky them, I suppose.
