He's been fairly accurate. He also predicted the impact of the internet a long time ago. I respect the guy, but some of his predictions have been off. Not so much because of the technology wasn't possible, but because society didn't demand it. I think that's one thing that is hard to predict and will get more difficult going forward. We are also hitting a ceiling (possibly just temporary) on Moore's Law. It's slowing down. But a new paradigm can get us on track. But as far as using nanobots to simulate different realities in the brain and what not, I think we could see that but I'm not confident in the timeline. And also not confident that society will demand it.
