The debt burden is moderate to say the least, the budget is with a surplus, the trade balance is positive, country's ranking in Doing Business and other economic ratings has only been raising in the recent years.

But the central bank has been working on reducing this dependency of the rouble on oil prices. Can't say it worked perfectly, but this year, when the oil price went down, the rouble stayed more or less stable.
