With things going alight in France, let's take a moment to remember those who fought, those who were injured, and those who paid the ultimate price in Maidan Square.
Maidan Square Nostalgia Thread
Bump guys
The actual events didn't get much airtime here.
Anyone have the bogdown?
Ultimate price for what?
Nothing has been as kino as the euromaiden
The French need to start stealing shields. Things are very different when the game becomes shieldwall v. shieldwall.
QRD on this happening pls.
>those who fought, those who were injured, and those who paid the ultimate price in Maidan Square.
You could just say "useful idiots" instead
Are you retarded? Winter 13’-14’ they Ukrainians had a revolution which precipitated the Russian annexation of crimea and the creation of the Donbas rebellion
Feels good man
It's funny watching Russia desperatly trying to cling to their last spheres of influence.
You don't have to be mean Satan. I said plz. I was busy doing other shit. Plus i looked it up. Go eat a dick. The Ukrainian revolution of 2014 took place in Ukraine in February 2014, when a series of violent events involving protesters, riot police, and unknown shooters in the capital, Kiev, culminated in the ousting of the elected Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych, and the overthrow of the Ukrainian Government
Uhhhhh.
>Ukrainians get fed up with puppet Russians running the government
>do a vote to open up their economy to Europe
>President and co strike down the vote
>people get pissed, start rioting
>soros and co. help somehow, at least according to Russian shills
>rioting leads to larger riots, one big centralized one that lasts for months in the Maidan, town halls attacked, gov buildings burned down
>aesthetic as fuck fights, giant burning tire lines, huge logistical operation
>eventually government becomes desperate, starts shooting people
>old government ousted, new gov created
>Russia annexes Crimea because the Crimea contains some of Russia's most important naval assets, which were on loan forever from eternal puppet gov.
>clown world politics
>war between Rus and Ukraine
>unpopular new President Poroshenko pulls a false flag using tugboats in Russian waters to enact martial law and boost popularity
You are now caught up to today.
>eventually government becomes desperate, starts shooting people
This is when it gets controversial. There is a lot of evidence that someone hired snipers to shoot at both sides in order to escalate the riots.
Tymoschenko I'm looking at you
>soros and co. help somehow, at least according to Russian shills
Implying they didn't. All colour revolutions were funded and organized by Western money.
I've a lot of sympathy for the regular Ukrainian people, but in the larger world of geopolitics there are only two sides in this conflict: The Globalist West against Oligarchic Russia. One of these satans are a bigger danger to us regular people, and that's the globalist west that is trying to create a one world government. Regular Ukrainian people need to realize that EU globalists really don't care about them, and it's a great danger to them if they get closer to the West.
Ukrops got very, very good at stealing shields. Ukrainian police used relatively little tear gas or pepper spray overall, which turned these into medieval battles.
