Hey Jow Forums, does anybody have experience bringing loli manga into the US (California in particular)? What happens if the customs officers come across it?
It's clearly obscene, and I'm a bit worried about bringing it through customs. I have a background check being done on me because I'm about to start a new job, so anything that might pop up there is a no go.
Who in the world has physical porn of any kind in this day and age

Hikers and hunters.

Probably nothing. If somebody discovers it they will throw it in a bin and send you a letter calling you a fucking idiot. Worst case scenario involves criminal charges based on Obscenity, but that's unlikely given how many idiots in /jp/ import their terrible shit
Ian Powell
Just say it's a manga dude

Drawn pedoshit is legal in california.
Brandon Wood
authorites KNOW what loli is if you dont >>animated pedofillia. in japanese manga style
Ethan Wood
It can be illegal if considered "obscene" but okay if it can be interpreted as artistic. In this case, it involves little girls getting fucked hard up the ass, so I'm gonna assume it's NG.
Joshua Russell
Yeah, because customs agents are blind and can't see that it's essentially child pornography, right?
Robert Flores
Put them in a package with the post, send it to your new address

So don't bring it.
Are you addicted to the stuff? If so, that's a whole different problem.

I believe it's safe. There's a few California based sex toy shops that sell male sex toys with naked lolis on them and they're able to sell them across the country.. I think the only time you'll get in trouble is if you order them with the attempt to distribute them without the correct certifications or whatever.

Yes, fellow US citizen! [California]
I can confirm that the import of Japanese domestic erotic fiction pertaining to the subject [Child Pornography] is legal in your state!
Should you import Japanese domestic erotic fiction [Child Pornography] into [California] you will face no charges!
Good day, No.19559838.

You have material you believe is obscene, and you're pretty sure it will ruin your life if you get caught with it.
Actual lawyer here. I got asked about this in law school. I could never find a straight answer in the law as to whether drawn shit was treated in the same way as CP, because they did criminalize “simulated” CP. Though they were obviously targeting the practice of putting a child’s head on an adult body, this would seem like it’d capture SFM simulated CP. So I really have never found a straight answer.
TL;DR: You could conceivably be charged with possession of “simulated CP” for bringing in loli hentai, and have to register as a sex offender.

Pics of clothed children can be considered child porn in California.
There was recently a case of a man getting arrested for owning loli and bringing it in is illegal in even more places. That said I think california is one of the "safe states"
Jack Barnes
It may not be California's decision, since it's coming over the international border.
Jacob Hughes
While the state isn’t involved in controlling what’s imported into it, they are absolutely permitted to regulate possession of obscene materials, and to treat the possession of certain obscene materials as sex crimes. It’s an issue subject to overlapping criminal jurisdictions, basically. The Feds could prosecute as could California, if their laws cover it.
Also SFW board faggot, don't post little naked girls.
Matthew Jackson
The upside is you have an aid to help you masturbate, the downside is you lose your job, go to jail, and register as a sex offender for the rest of your life.
THROW. IT. AWAY.

OP you'll be fine. I live in California and I order figures and dakis all the time, some of which are loli/shota. I'm pretty sure that 99% of the time postal workers don't even look inside at the package.
