This would be the most based nation of Europe. Prove me wrong (you can't).
Why a Greater Occitania should exist:
Occitan and Catalan are, in fact, different dialects of the same language. This has been proven by Pompeu Fabra, the guy that standarized modern Catalan, and Lois Alibert, the guy that standarized modern Occitan.
These two regions share a historical friendship, since the times of the Kingdom of Aragon. They are both the forerunners of modern vernacular European literature, and the heartland of Catharism, the most based Christian sect that ever existed.
Although we have never been able to share a nation, we are brothers, and will always be. No forced assimilation will ever be able to erase that.
>the most based Christian sect that ever existed. If it's so based why don't you be like them and starve yourself?
Also, get your filthy Scatalan fingers of northern Vasconia.

Too bad Occitania's basically dead. Its language and culture are amazing. Without them we catalans wouldn't be here. It would take a huge institutional effort to revitalize their culture, but it won't happen with President Macuck.

It will never happen. France is an unnatural Jewish-masonic abortion. "Enlightened" kikes needed to kill every real culture in order to impose (((Republican values))) on their people.

None give a shit about your Occitania crap here, I'm from Perpignan and I don't even know about that shit until some foreigner Jow Forumstards like you spam these threads everyday Make your own Occatania for yourself, Catalanigger
Easton Ward
Catalans are stupid as fuck. Trying to revive artificially long dead cultures who are totally irrlevant outside their redneck towns.
Fuck you

if this monstruosity existed it would be the worse country in europe demographically
It's a losing battle for most. The literal sole example of a dead language coming back to life that I know of is Hebrew, and the historical context that allowed the kikes to do that doesn't really exist for Occitans as far as I know. Is there any such thing as Occitan separatism or even regionalism?

>revitalize their culture, what for? nobody should give the error Spain did by giving you so much autonomy and "revitalizing" your "culture"

Why do you always have to get us in Balears involved with your shit?

>Is there any such thing as Occitan separatism or even regionalism?
Yes, but it is marginal. What is absolutely mainstream is the feeling of mistreatment that they get from France. You can see it in the protests of the Yellow Vests.
They are poorer than Parisians, feel left behind, and are constantly mocked by frogs (a leftist politician mocked a reporter in front of a crowd some time ago because of her accent). It would be really easy to turn this into a succesful movement.
