No. I was born during the presidency of the daddy Bush who just died last weekend. I honestly have yet to live through a president I can actually feel honored to have. Every president while I have been alive all served the military-industrial complex very well at our expense and the expense of millions of people overseas.
Back in 2008, I had hoped that Obama would take on the Patriot Act and the neocon war machine when he got into office. He instead renewed the Patriot Act and decided to ramp up the drone program and bomb more countries than Bush. By 2012, I had pretty much lost just about all respect I had for him.
So no, I don't miss Obama.
Can't say I'll miss Trump either, especially with all of his neoconning. He didn't have to bomb Syria or hire John Bolton who I consider to be the absolute worst person you can put anywhere near the White House.

Turns out, the most important thing he did was give up trying to lead through building consensus and getting legislation passed. Instead, he just governed by executive fiat for almost everything he accomplished (Obamacare being the single important exception.)
That means that all it takes to undo almost everything he did is a President willing to issues a countermanding executive order. Which Trump has been willing to do. (To my mind, Trump's two most important accomplishements as President have been his undoing so much of Obama's "legislation through executive order," and his success in shifting the courts away from the activist jurists and more into the hands of constitutionalists. If his judges form part of a new majority to overturn legislation from the Executive as well as from the bench, Trump's presidency will have been hugely beneficial, in spite of the sideshow that he brought to town.)

To me, your post says it all. In the context of the past few decades, Obama was absolutely middle-of-the-road. He adopted a 'For the People' position in his first campaigns, then proceeded to bail out the banks and strengthen the oligarchy; he pulled (most of) us out of the sandbox, but failed to close the black site detention areas as he had promised.
