He went through narcotics anonymous and also converted to Christianity. His conversion seems to me to be very genuine and real. He’s a big name and god works crazy things for all people who turn to him (I can verify this for myself personally. narcotics anonymous is very legit, and the power of Christ is also very legit. I for one am absolutely rooting for him. Christianity could use a few like him. Soon I think there will be many more like him.
Also anyone who is curious, narcotics anonymous has a daily email they send out. I thought I would delete it and mark as spam like I do with all other daily emails, but theirs is literally the only one I kept. It’s worth your time to read, and it’s not just for hard drugs or something, we all have addictions, it’s good sound (and practically useful) spiritual advice. It’s not even about Christianity really, but it is also completely consistent with it. It’s not bible verses or anything like that it’s just advice from a group of people who already wandered around in life a while and then got better for people who are in the middle of wandering around and want to get better also. I highly recommend.
