What should a medic bring to a protest?
Things I will face
>flash ball
>rubber bullet
>flash bang grenade
>tear gas grenade
>blunt trauma (eyes, nose, mouth...)
Please I want to save lives
I don't want the cops to murder another grandma

This was done by a flash ball (not a rubber bullet)
This was done by a flash bang (but not picked)
This was done by an angry mob of regular cops (who had nothing to do here)

I poke holes in the top of water bottles and fill them with milk, when people get pepper spray in their eyes squeeze it through the holes into their eyes while holding their eyes open. For storage tape the holes on the cap with duct tape which can be ripped off before use.
I lived in Ukraine during Euromaidan and was present during the start of it (left before it got really bad)
Here is what I would suggest
>spare medical masks, gas masks are preferable but a lot harder to carry a significant amount, some protection from inhaling smoke/fumes/etc is better than none
>pain killers, even just ibuprofen and acetaminophen will work, but Codeine or higher is preferable, advil or tylonel won't do much if someone gets their head cracked, atleast codeine would help a bit
>thin plastic safety goggles to carry as spares to hand out if people have no eye protection, though I recommend you have something better for permanent eye protection (I went with snowboarding goggles cause its all I had, was okay but fogged up a lot)
>Penicillin if you can get it, EPIPens which is the shit for allergic reactions that you stab into people I donno what its called in France (beware DO NOT administer this yourself though unless absolutely necessary, in fact, don't administer anything unless necessary or if you are trained, obviously
>Other common medications may be helpful to have, such as diphenhydramine, dimenhydrinate, aspirin and what ever else you can think of
>Gauze, Bandages and a Suture Kit for stitching wounds, this is another one I think you should only do if absolutely necessary
Also arm your self, a firearm is obviously the most desirable but sadly for us Non-Americans it may not be as easy to acquire one through legal means, if this isn't an issue then more power to you.
I carried this around with me (A dumb bell bar with shoe lace tied around one end to act as a grip) and it worked well enough, though I never had to use it more than a 1-2 swing to back people off
Get a camping bag if you can as the ammount you can carry in one of those over a regular backpack is quite significant. Bring anything and everything that you think people may need, even if you aren't able to directly use it yourself, there most likely will be someone around who can
also you might want to bring tampons, if the rubber bullets break the skin you can plug it with the tampon to stop the bleeding temporarily, get forceps or large twezzers to remove any rubber bullets or fragments lodged in there
hahaha kill all niggers XD

Forgot the picture
Another suggestion is print out a bunch of common sayings/phrases , body parts and their translations for languages that might be spoken, even if you don't know the language its self, this will give you the ability to offer at least basic help even if you can't actually communicate
helmet (anything is better than nothing)
eye protection (ski goggles minimum)
body armor (motor cycycle jacket, sporting armor if desperate)
something for respiration, even homebrew if desperate.
gloves (motor cycle)
sturdy shoes boots preferable
throat protection (thick scarf minimum.
groin protection (sports box, heavy stuffing at an absoulte minimum)
knee, elbow etc if available.
A flash ball IS a rubber bullet.
Though CRS don't even use flashballs anymore, they have all been replaced by LDB40. More range, more power, more accuracy.
Gauze and duct tape. Bring peppermints as well.
peppermints ? for the smell of tear gas ?
just asking i've never assissted to a protest might go saturday
It helps people to focus on something other than tear gas, in addition to making the mood a little more cheery.
Just got back from university, so the ID might be different for my post.
it is different
Alright got it but a gas mask isn't enough ?
amfetamin
If only there was a way to get milk on tap...
Bring lots of water
Everyone needs to wear hearing protection. Those flashbangs are ridiculous.
Funny how almost every picture of these innocent Frenchmen wanting to overthrow the government is of a Muslim, it’s almost as if an invading force were attempting to throw the country into chaos...
I do not have experience using gas masks for that situation, I would assume that it should do well enough so that you have time leaving that immediate area.
Might also recommend bringing water with you in a backpack to wash your face if needed.
Personal safety is #1.
Killdozer preferably.
If not available, at least wear a cup. Remember pepper balls
Milk.
Got u
wear a red cross so people will be willing to get help from you
Fuck yeah!
>pain killers, even just ibuprofen and acetaminophen will work, but Codeine or higher is preferable, advil or tylonel won't do much if someone gets their head cracked, atleast codeine would help a bit
Don't carry any controlled substances tho. If you can't ditch them before getting arrested you'll catch a drug charge. Remember to only do one crime at a time. Not that I consider what you're planning to do criminal, but (((the system))) does.

Oh and good luck frogbro.
Chew lemon slices. It will help from tear gas.
Wash your mouth or eyes or whatever was exposed to tear gas with milk.
To make molotow you will need gasoline with thickening admixture so it will stick to stuff. You pour little acetone in glass bottle an add a lot of polystyrene. Than pour gasoline. Add bleach for additional gassing.

Bump for the cause also maybe a helmet for your noggin' they don't want a medic down
A gun to fight back.
get one of these
*pouêt pouêt*
>helmet and probably other forms of protection
>red cross on a white background for visual designation as a medic
>make sure this is displayed front and back so the cops don’t target you
>water bottles, lots of water
>LOTS of gauze tape, medical pads, suture kit
>large bandages
>possibly a tourniquet
>lots and lots of saline solution for tear gas (medical units typically just use water and/or saline solution, there’s not much you can do)
>isopropyl alcohol/hydrogen peroxide
Did you learn from your mistake?
Probably not. Jow Forums doesn't learn.
mon baguette!
Does anyone have that funny story of the Finnish soldier who took a whole bottle of pervetin post
Around blacks never relax
Never mind, here it is.
Essential for any protest
I don't know, you're the fucking medic shouldn't you know? Otherwise please don't go larp as one and cause even more damage.
just surrender
