I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Macron's mind is so governed by clichés and dead metaphors that he has no other style of speaking. Later I read a lavish, loving review of LREM by the same Sarkozy. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these citizens are voting Macron at 21 or 22, then when they get older they will go on to vote for Sarkozy." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. Right now there are two main problems for the government:
1) Gas shortage because the fuel depots are being blocked. Pic related, there are currently 359 gas stations struggling and 253 straight out of gas.
2) high schools and universities joining in. That shit absolutely scares the government. On monday a high school was burned down, and yesterday ~200 high schools were blocked off.

Regular youth protest but the fact that it's happening in the same time than the gilet jaunes must be a pain in the ass for the gouv. Get in mind that there's 5000 crs (riot police) in paris, and they were all deployed saturday, some worked 20 hours straight. If the zoomers keep doing their job by getting them buisy they will have no time to rest for the next saturday, and they are doing it well (some chools are already burning). You have to know that cops have what we call "congés", witch are 3 weeks of vacations that you can take anytime you want, and the gouv can't say no. If riots policemens all take their congés saturday out of tirering and fear for their lifes, we will be hardly stopable. The gouv fear that so they offered a 200euros bonus for those who will work saturday.
