This assumes that A, B and C are just numbers, and their numerical values is all they have. If that's the case, then, yes, if A=C and B=C then A=B. People are not represented as a single number. They have a gigantic set of traits that can be used to characterize them. You are implying that one particular trait is shared by two people, then those people are the same. This is incorrect.
