Being too short is a problem but so is being too tall. 6'1-6'2 is the sweet spot between being a manlet and a lanklet in war and in daily life.

I can say from personal experience that generally the guy that's over 6 foot fatigues less quickly with a 50 pound ruck and a weighted tac vest and C7 than than the barely 5 foot manlet with the same kit.

How does it NOT make you slower? Longer limbs = more time and energy required to move them = less space for positioning = slower movements. It also makes you much easier to spot.

I'll give you the fact that it makes you a bigger target but when someone is aiming center mass on you, having 6 inches less meat up top won't help you much. Also just from what I've seen from experience in the Canadian army is that guys in that sweet spot of 6'1 to 6'3 fatigue slower than manlets. Also
