"Nashos" (national conscripts) were always the absolute dogshit worst to train, then obviously what happened in Vietnam was outright insubordination and even killings of officers. (We hushed it much more in Aus, because the jew media loves anything which denigrates their host nation. Our media wasn't *quite* as kiked in the 70s.)
It might be good as a social aspect, but as soon as the shit hits the fan, there is no soldier worse than a conscript, no dog as unloyal. Even shitbulls pale.

I can't speak about Australia, but in America conscription would turn to hell. There's never been an multiethnic army that fought well together. Even today the majority of soldiers in combat arms are white. While the navy is full of nigger, spics, and females. Look at the French colonial soldiers during Indochina. They were some of the worst soldiers to ever fight in war, most deserted and even defected to the enemy side.
I think you aussies have opened your entire military to females as well. That means you'd have to conscript females. Could you imagine having half of your infantry platoon full of females? There's no way you could win a firefight, let alone a war.

Conscription will only work in an homogeneous society like Finland. Like 90% of your country are Finns and the rest are sami and swedes. Of course you could have unit cohesion and bonding.
