If foregen works out, you should be able to just replace your restored foreskin with a fully functional foreskin of your own cells (or at least replace the part that is just insensitive outer shaft skin that was stretched). If foregen doesn't work out you will wish you had been tugging for all these years, as you would already have as much of a foreskin as you could ever hope to have.
