>Indicated for long-term usage of gastro-intestinal reflux disease GERD. >Causes dementia in elderly >Causes weak bones from prolonged use >Increases susceptibility to Clostridium Difficile and presumably other diarrheas from flora imbalance(deadly diarrhea bacteria) >Rebound hyper-secretion on discontinuation (thats how they make you "Addicted' and dependent on PPIs)
So Jow Forums are you taking a PPI? (proton-pump inhibitor)
And depending on how long you have been on it, it can be nearly impossible to stop taking it
Andrew Reyes
Can you make a meme of the chad barret’s Esophagus vs the virgin ppi?
Evan Rivera
They are vastly overprescribed and taken (my grandmother takes it for stomachache) but it is proven successful in treating ulcers and several other infectious diseases. Also every single antibiotic increases C. diff infection rate.
Andrew Carter
Avoid this shit like the aids. It will fuck you up.
Luke Hernandez
or use a half tea spoon of vinegar.

Most physicians will attempt to wean patients off after a while, but many people won’t make any lifestyle changes to address their gerd so a ppi remains their only relief. The negative side effects and risks are better than ulcers or strictures in the esophagus
Adrian Nguyen
I was really sick from GERD, it caused ulcers in my esophagus, and made sleeping a nightmare (constant irratation that forced me to burp). After I took a month of these pills, with no side effects, it went away. It also helped with removing my stomach ulcers due to helibacter pylori, which caused me to shit blood.
I understand the side effects, but its pretty cheap, and I keep myself on the lowest maintenance dose (20mg pill every 2-3 days).
Jason Evans
I lost 25kg after I first got GERD. I also exercised more, refrained off chilli sauce that I used to devour. Yet I still have GERD, lifestyle changes can't cure the disease. I feel nothing while on PPIs, but off it its heartburn, and if untreated for a while, I get ulcers. PPIs are a lifesaver, the alternative is much riskier and harmful surgeries.
Kayden Mitchell
Look at the Linx device. It saved my life and gave me super magnetic male vitality.
Justin Stewart
As I said, too risky, expensive as well, I have no symptoms at a low maintenance dose, so why risk it. The Linx thing does seem quite non-invasive though, and I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the recommendation.
Jason Cox
No. Fuck drugs.
The only thing i take is the occasional (like once very few months) aspirin for the worst of headaches.... Aspirin has been used for millenia. It's safe, effective, has been found to have anti-cancer properties, protects the heart, reduces inflammation and a score of other benefits. Yet it's been poo-pooed by doctors and druggists because 1 in like a million people that take a handful of other NSAID's MIGHT have a mild GI bleed if they have another condition occuring at the time they take it... It's bullshit kikery made to steer people away from an effective drug towards polypharmacy and a slew of non-effective drugs that just create a need for more drugs.
Liam Torres
Do you get muscle cramps from the PPI?
Carter Roberts
People used to live to the 50-60s. Now they live to the 80s. Its drugs dude, the human body is not designed to live to 80, drugs help patch up the faults and extend our lives.
Kevin Ortiz
Nope, absolutely no side effects that I can notice. Though as I said, I keep a low maintenance dose, and was only on the high dose when my ulcers flared up.
Zachary Thomas
A couple years ago my mom used to take like 6 Aleve (sodium naproxen) a day for like a couple years just for daily aches and pain. Eventually those NSAIDS burnt a whole through her intestine and she had to have surgery to patch it up. Said it was the worst pain ever. When she gets stomach the doctor prescribed her ameprazole and it really helps her.
Heck, earlier this year out of no where I had this horrifyingly painful stomach pain out of no where and I took one it worked a miracle for me
You sound like such an edgy retard. I was actually surprised you didn’t say “fuck all pharmaceuticals! Only smoke weed” like a brainlet
Matthew Scott
>I am a based boy you mean söyböy, user
Robert Sanchez
If you take these and antidiarrheal medicine you will die because Imodium shit is a massively powerful opioid but doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier unless you take it with this, in which case it does. Some guy on reddit or sa or somewhere posted about his gay husband dying while they were watching a movie because he was abusing this shit and it shut down his nervous system It’s amazing how fags always manage to die from ass-related causes
they always try to find a way to do more and more degenerate shit, such as poppers
oh wow that makes so much sense
Ryan Powell
Maybe you should stop huffing petrol you dirty abo
Carson Sullivan
But Larry the Cable Guy said it was safe!
Dominic Ramirez
>the human body is not designed full stop
Luis Campbell
>that makes so much sense ...perhaps not to a newfag.
Jonathan Wilson
I keep getting spam pop ups asking if I have PPI but I am pretty sure I dont
Gabriel Williams
I had GERD for years caused by chronic h pylori infection which also caused an esophageal ulcer. Tums and other OTC antacids didn't help and doc wanted me on PPI and antibiotics. I knew what that combo did to your liver and kidneys and did some research on my own. I ended up chewing fennel and fenugreek seeds twice a day and drinking tea with turmeric. The fennel reduces inflammation and pain from any ulcers, the fenugreek naturally downregulates acid production and restores GI mucous cover and the turmeric kills any h. pylori infestation causing ulcers. Took half a year, but patched everything up nicely during my next checkup.
Lucas Hill
omg thank you user i have been trying to find something that regenerates GI mucous cover
gonna try it, been taking ranitidine and antacid for my hiatal hernia
Thomas Brooks
I had GERD and all I had to do was stop drinking soda and it went away. I'm still obese, but that's because I stay inside all day due to being developmentally disabled and having chronic anxiety from being abused heavily as a child. I'm working on losing weight though. I lost 30 pounds this year through fasting and eating mostly animal protein, I hope to lose more next year.
Chase Smith
>the alternative is much riskier, harmful surgeries Or you could take an H2 blocker like ranitidine
Jaxson Gomez
Been taking this every day for the past 8 years. How fucked am I?
Ryder Phillips
take generic zantac instead
Easton Morgan
only take 2 wait 15 mins then take 5 anti shit meds. Like heroin.
Chase Moore
You should take a multivitamin with B-12 and extra magnesium as the PPIs can cause deficiencies.
Levi Walker
You really should avoid the food triggers. It got a lot better for me when I just stopped eating crap that gave me heartburn.
Connor Reyes
Yeah, was on them for a while but the side effects kicked my ass. Muscle spasms, feeling like throat was locking up when I was h. pylori negative, had to get an upper endoscopy because of it. So I quit them for a combination of DGL, Digestive Enzymes, and Ginger root chews. My GERD has gotten significantly better since then. these things are a crutch, good for a few days but then the side effects knock you straight on your ass.
Ian Moore
stop eating shit and start drinking kombucha
Connor Green
Maybe try some probiotics or something, apparently anxiety can be related to gut stuff. It’s good you’re taking care of yourself, take one step at a time
