And while you're looking up that study, including the one the other person linked about twin studies, learn about regression to the mean. tl:dr; even if two really smart people have kids, their more likely to be closer to average than the parents because there's a medium ground that tends to draw people in. It's why geniuses tend to have only "okay" children that get measured up to their parents and often feel inadequate and why even successful black people's children are more likely to be average black people (i.e. probably in jail or something).

As long as they can read and understand the questions, it should have no bearing whatsoever on how well they can do. IQ tests don't ask super confusing convoluted questions that require you being a reader of Kant and Heidegger.

Being able to conceptualize things in multiple dimensions isn't supposed to require practice, unless you're talking about something complicated like vector calculus or something, which wouldn't be on IQ tests.

The point of an IQ test is to not be complicated, it has nothing to do with education you've received, at worst it's assuming the person is at least literate and can perform arithmetic.
