Are there any decent cities? I need to be in a mid-sized city for jobs, I assume a suburb for whiteness and schools but don't want a huge commute. I'm leaning toward TN due to the tax situation. Are there any good places to live that aren't totally pozzed? My wife and I would like to find an area where our kids can stay and raise their kids too.
Where to in Tennessee/Kentucky?
hendersonville
93% white, looks pretty good, thanks.
Played them in the soccer state tournament. Fuck that city.
Gay states inhabited by homos in gay trucks
Lexington is a good area if you know where to stay, the Crestwood/Hinda Heights area is great, lots of families and good schools nearby. Do some research and find out some more specifics, it really depends on what you’re looking for. But I’ve lived here my entire life, so I know a thing or two
Cool, Lexington is one of the places we're looking at.
I lived near morristown Tn.
Very nice.
cheap living, low taxes.
saw 1 black person in 2.5 yrs i lived there.
Saw a lot of hispanics though.
bush bean factory near by.
probably could take a tour.
Don't expect the recipe
Wow morristown was already 16% hispanic in 2010. that's my main concern, that wherever we decide will become largely hispanic over the next couple decades.
Kentucky's got some towns that are unbelievably booming compared to 15 years ago; Elizabethtown, Owensboro, Madisonville, Hopkinsville, Bowling Green, etc. It's important to remember that Kentucky's biggest industries have historically and continue to be resolved around agriculture and logistics (shipping). If you have a skill that revolves around those two, you will be successful here.
Kentucky has some of the most liberal gun laws in the nation. No permit required open carry and very few places that can legally be restricted. You can open carry in a courthouse, sheriff's office or even the Legislature buildings. Concealed carry is shall issue. Kentucky is taxed a little excessively more than what you actual get out of it. TN has no income tax. Ky doesn't tax military or retirement pay. There are still dry counties in KY.
Avoid Louisville at all cost. Many commute to Louisville for work since it is easily available and good wages compared to the cost of living.
>hey Jow Forums find me a place in the south with no beaners, that won’t have any beaners for the foreseeable future
You’re gonna have to just keep moving north until even the bears are white, lad.
No background check required on gun purchases if you possess an active concealed carry permit in Kentucky.
that's good to know thanks. Im in tech which is why Im looking for a mid-sized city at the least.
last time I was in WA I saw more beaners than when I was in TN. I think they're everywhere. maybe the Alaska post isnt a bad idea.
Tennessee gets darker the farther west you go. Also stay out of the hills.
>t. Oak Ridge
Nashville is becoming unbearable
>tech job
>kentucky
lmao, keep looking
I have friends in Franklin but all the nicer suburbs like that look too expensive and have long commutes. Too bad man, I remember loving Nashville the few times I went there in college.
Kentucky is poorer and much more redneck. Squirrel hunting and shit is still very common there. Go there.
so far the only thing I like better about Kentucky is that it's whiter. I cannot believe how unlivable most of this country has become.
Westside of Memphis. They will make you feel welcome
tn has 9% sales tax btw and it's a southern shithole
i live western tn and the urban places are p. awful. why not move north...
what the fuck lmoa i fuckign HATE living here
All the large cities are filled with nigs. The small towns are filled with beaners. Most white people live in the rural areas and commute .
FUCK OFF WE'RE FULL!
besides Lex has more surveillance than the UK
I'm from Hendersonville, it used to be a nice town but now it's being invaded by the runoff of Nashville, same treatment as Madison and Goodletsville got
I would rather go deal with spics in El Paso, Texas than deal with the niggers in Tennessee. Find a good small town in Kentucky on the outskirts of a big town so you can just commute. Although it’s not as bad as poor spic and nig areas, Kentucky has(or had) some very poor white areas. For years, they had some of the poorest counties in America.
The Highlands is an interesting place. Not really a conservative environment though. It costs a little more.
>same treatment as Madison and Goodletsville got
Grew up around this area and it's a fucking shame what it's turned into.
Nashville is not going anywhere good. Some places like Franklin, Brentwood, etc. have their own job markets. Lots of businesses there.
where are you from? i'm sick of Chicagoans filling up the fucking place. What Colorado and Texas are dealing with from Cali...we're dealing with Chicago
this is good advice. lots of Jow Forumsacks from 859
maybe at the school, but i haven't noticed much elsewhere
It's sad really, but then again I moved to Murfreesboro for school and it's ten times worse here, same with Smyrna. Anywhere near Nashville is going to be shit
gf's from KY and one of the poorest counties in the US, even the black people are rednecks, it's an amusing contrast to the ghetto nigs I saw elsewhere.
I wouldn't consider western TN. sorry you are there, user. I do hear that the eastern side is nicer.
>why not move north...
cost of housing, property taxes, income taxes, weather, wife.
If you can get a security clearance, consider a DoD contractor position on Fort Knox. The Human Resources Command is the largest office building in the state and employs something like 3500 contractors, mainly for IT work. Not a bad place to work. I live in Elizabethtown and commute to Knox. Etown has a nice little downtown and the drive to Knox is only a half hour. Pretty decent living
Owensboro or Bowling Green
Nolensville is pretty cool. Only problem is that it takes a little longer to get to anywhere. Bellevue and Fairview are still decent.
If I had to pick a city for OP it would be Bowling Green. You have Louisville and Nashville close enough. Nashville just flat out sucks. The "It" city has a decaying education system that is really starting to become a big problem.
Barren co Ky is a lovely place but not a lot of tech jobs. its the least niggery, least meth part of the state
My wife was from one of the last really rural areas of North Carolina. The blacks there literally acted like I thought blacks did in the 1930’s. Even the old white and black dudes still say “colored folk” and what not.
Also be careful not to go roaming in the woods in Kentucky because you might stumble on a weed grow op and get shot
Near Louisville will treat you well. Oldham county has some of the schools in the state and the area's real estate is steadily appreciating in value. Depending on how much you want to spend on a house, the east end of Jefferson county is also nice. Avoid the west end is nigs as far as the eye can see. The south end is meth and depression. Anywhere downtown/UofL's campus/highlands is yuppie/faggot central.
My vote would be for anywhere between Crestwood and La Grange. houses are still very affordable and can be very nice.
thanks, we are going to check out Bowling Green in the next few months.
Knoxville
thanks for the suggestion. I think I could get clearance.
That was mostly far Eastern KY that suffers from remoteness. Anything west of 75 will be the most desirable.
Makes sense. The SE part of Ohio is still the most rural area even though all the assholes from Cincinnati and Columbus are going there. It’s basically West Virginia there without the stupid union democrats.
as a Radcliff native, can confirm E-town is getting better. kind of expected of small town life but it was a really big deal with the Olive Garden opened in the past few years, to the point that it was immediately booked for months.
i used to live on post (army brat) and i loved it. fort knox is a lovely as hell place to be. still wish the Patton Museum didn't get fucked out of all of its tanks
In tech, you're basically limited to Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati.
I've spent most of my life around Lexington (born there, raised about 25 minutes away, and I'm a UK alum) - it's okay but I don't like the way it's going. Yuppie shopping centers and suburbs are starting to pop up all over (they took over adjacent Nicholasville) and the traffic fucking sucks because the city was never meant to grow very much. Politically, it's fairly liberal (about 55-45 split I'd say) since it's a decent-sized college town and I'd figure it'll only become more so with people, especially college grads and young families, moving in.
I live in Lexington, we got beaners and chinks and niggers and crackers and we all like each other, so keep your happy ass moving on.
Lol I remember when a Dominos was built up here in Brewster, Ohio. Even some of the Mennonites went and got some pizza.
