pretty sure he's religious in the way many Americans are - he believes and lives by Christian values, but you won't see him in church most Sundays. He's not lying when he makes the occasional God reference in his speeches, but he most definitely is pandering to the evangelicals when he does it.

He probably isn't Christian either. Don't think he understands that he is just as screwed up as the rest of us. If you don't believe you sin, it is very difficult to repent.
His creepy Apollo themed gold apartment doesn't bode well either.
To be safe for all eternity:
A: Admit that you are a sinner, who violates the Will of God, and that you need a Saviour.
B: Believe that Jesus Christ, Son of God & Messiah, died for you sins and rose again, as prophesied and recorded in the Word of God. Trust in His finished work.
C: Call on His name, ask Him to save you, and confess that He is Lord.
