I have 7 tattoos, some visible ones too. Girls my age do seem to like it. I don't regret it, but if I had to go back I wouldn't get them. I was planning on spending my life in the Marines at the time so I wasn't too worried about anything else. Came up that I had to actually get out after 4 years. Haven't had a problem getting employment or anything, when I mention I am a Marine I feel like people are more understanding of the tattoos.
