I am a Levantine Christian, a group usually said to be white on this forum. I have two siblings. One is a brunette with blue eyes and fair skin, could literally pass in Germany. The other looks Med but certainly not Arab.
As for me, I look like a fucking Saudi.Could not pass as Italian; not even close. How is this possible? What is my race?
BTW I've done 23 and me and ancestry and it says I'm 80% Levantine 19% European with no significant ancestry from anywhere else. So the Bedouin Rape baby theory doesn't work.

We don’t vary based on ethnicity, it’s just genetics. My sister and I are pale olive, but my grandfather was darker and my grandmother almost looks Saudi. My cousins are darker too. It’s jist genetics and chance. Some Christians look like Gemayel, others look like Samir Geagea

There’s tons of us on here though, I’m surprised we aren’t told to fuck of yet. 40% of Lebanon and 15% of Syria are Christian, not including diaspora. We aren’t some tiny minority like the fucking mandaens of iraq

People from the Mediterranean have been trading with each other for thousands of years. Even thousands of years pre-Roman times. An exchange of culture and language has always been there. Trading in slaves and marriages from one kingdom to another have also taken place. The Levant has always been a meeting point between the West and the East. Things however changed during the rise of Islam and The Great Migration of Slavs and Germans. Whiter people came further south and browner people came further north. The Levant, Anatolia, Iberia, Sicily etc became battlegrounds. This set a divide in the Mediterranean. Mixing of races ensued resulting in some Spaniards looking like Arabs with brown skin, hair growth all over their body, dark brown eyes and some Arabic speaking people from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon who have green or blue eyes and light skin that burns in the sun like mine a native Swede. But it can of course also be vice versa with Spaniards having the light skin etc and Arabic speaking people in Lebanon looking like they're fresh out of Yemen.
