The reason why bump order is a problem is because the shills can create threads and then enter it together, and bump it just long enough to get picked up in the catalog. Discord anons, etc. can do this easily.

This is important also. When real anons make threads, the autobots and shills come out immediately and post garbage or some post designed to catch yous and derail thread. All conversation gets structured off of that first post or so, and it’s very likely to be a shill or a bot.

Relatedly, the post “1 POST BY THIS ID” sometimes (very often, actually) appears as the FIRST POST on a thread. On the one hand it might be some user trying to be cute, on the other hand it might be a bot that periodically goes through all threads , counts posts by if, and hits reply (SUPER easy to make and deploy) , and if you’ve ever made a thread, chances are you know how frustrating it is when some user makes a low effort post like that when you just haven’t had time to type out your response yet. The “1 post by this id” is definitely used against actual anons (of course, low effort shills do that also, but in my opinion it’s a lot more likely for shills to act in groups and the 1 post ids people to be anons. (Except during a hanbening, use your judgement)
