I guess he should’ve focused on sucking a golf ball through a garden hose. That skill pays with or without AC power

>stupid fucking commie thinks money is real

Guess he wasn't so bright after all

this low res image really destroyed capitalism
how will the right-wing ever recover etc..

If you knew anything about tesla, you would know that most of his financial issues were self-inflicted. He would voluntary just give up his rights to his inventions, meaning he couldve been a billionaire. Companies would pay him to engineer stuff, but would jsut waste it just fucking around with electric coils. He also decided to live in a hotel full time. He couldve been one of the richest men in american history, but just chose to not to.

Tesla lived in a fucking luxury hotel. The guy was a brilliant engineer, but the reason he died destitute is because he was fucking terrible with his money, not because he capitalism. He made plenty from his inventions, and could have made much more if he had actually invested it wisely.

>implying INTPs care about financial security.

He would have gained no joy from 100 million dollars, what he needed was someone to fund his research and the implementation of his ideas. And he got that for the most part.

The smart man asks the rich man, "If you're so rich, why aren't you smart?
The rich man replies, "If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?

This. The pizza lovers rule the world. Tesla was probably not one of them based on his poverty.

Ouch. That hit pretty deep.

If he hadn't willingly torn up his contract for royalties on all AC electronic devices sold, he would have been incredibly wealthy, and Capitalism would have rewarded his ingenuity. I greatly admire Tesla, but he made a mistake in doing so.

Tesla was an autistic turbo-genius who really didn't care about anything other than his research, which is why he ended up in such a state. I think he was perfectly satisfied as far as his living situation, but was disappointed that his later research into some very out there topics wasn't taken seriously by the scientific community and his financial backers. He was probably right about all of it and a man of his genius probably won't come along for quite some time. He's one of my personal heroes and his should be more widely know, as the modern world wouldn't exist without him.

>'When I was growing up, my parents were super strict, so I decided one day, I'm just going to work so hard, and become so successful, that I'm never going to have to ask for anything ever.'

>That was Paris Hilton's reply to Australian radio network KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O on Wednesday, after they asked her what it felt like to be worth more than her parents.

>The revelation shocked the hosts, who learned the extent of the 36-year-old's retail empire, encompassing 50 stores, 19 product lines and sales from her 23 different fragrances exceeding $2.5 billion ($3.29 billion Australian).

>In that 12 years, Paris has developed the second-most successful celebrity fragrance line of all time, behind only Liz Taylor.

>In 2014, The Guardian claimed the blonde bombshell earns up to $1 million ($1.32 million AUD) per DJ set (typically 1.5 hours), the majority of which take place in Ibiza, China and Dubai.

> It's a tad higher than her reported $300,000 ($395,000 AUD) 'party appearance fee' rate, which covers Paris' cost to simply turn up at the event, where she'll sometimes stay for little more than one hour.

>Paris may even be worth more than Grandfather and Hilton Hotel heir Barron Hilton, who announced in 2007 he was donating 97% of his $2.3 billion fortune to charity.

>She acknowledged her rightful status as one of the Hilton's most successful, and undoubtedly most famous, during her radio interview Wednesday.

>'My Grandfather, he's so cute, he said recently "I used to be known as Baron Hilton, but now I'm just known as Paris Hilton's grandfather."'
