Is it socially acceptable to upload this specific pic as a "cover photo" on my facebook profile?
I like this pic but I'm not sure if this may look awkward/cringy
Please suggest me what to do

Hide your power level
Don't doit.
If you have any social standing, hide your power level. Don't ever post anime picson your social media
Only if your social circle consists of other weebs, who will see your cover photo and then think "wow user is cool as hell I know that anime girl".
If you have normal people as your social circles then they'll think "why does user have a chinese cartoon girl for a cover photo I think he might be joining an incel terrorist group let's keep an eye on him"
Not if you have or wishes to have a decent reputation among normal people.
Normie here - posting anime pics on facebook is so fucking lame you can't even imagine. I cannot possibly respect or take seriously someone who posted an anime pic on fb, let alone on his fucking cover.
Sorry, but this is probably true to other normies as well.
So it's definitely NOPE NOPE?
Keep in mind I would just upload that pic in the Original Post, nothing else
It's ok, dude. No one fucking cares that you watch anime
DON'T DO IT OP!
Hide your power level at all costs!
>anything anime related
Unless you are in japan, people will look down on you for having anything related to cartoons.
>people will look down on you for having anything related to cartoons.
Not sure about that, you see people posting Simpsons stuff and they seem to do fine
Moroccan here
If you post chinese cartoon drawings of girls you're basically on suicide watch, everyone will laugh at you behind your back
Understand how the game works, then play it.
If you post that pic, you may lose social status points and that kinda sucks. But even worse is being the type of guy who is scurred to look a little bad. Pick your poison.
You earn respect with character, being independent, and by doing things other people can't.
If you're a crass, obnoxious neckbeard with no redeeming qualities it may look like your just adding to the cringe.
But if you take life seriously but just wanna post that pic, then go for it.
You'll feel less thirsty for the approval of people you don't really need ( and can't hurt you if you stand up for yourself
Yea but simpsons are western & normie as fuck
Anime girls on the other hand...
Well you know the negative stigma
depends on how old you are.
if you are still in highschool, don't do it. highschool kids are gay as hell and latch onto the smallest thing.
but if you're older, then it's probably fine. working adults are far, far, far more tolerant to "weirdness" than kids, as long as you're reasonably polite and don't bother them.
also it depends on your social group. for example, half my coworkers are bronies and my boss is a bigger weeb than me. anime profile pictures are the norm in our steam group, rather than the exception.
>I've got religious values against drawings of living things.
What kind of religion is that
>I hate women
Islam.
The principle behind it is the only one who created living beings is God. Drawers will be punished and demanded
to breathe a soul into their drawings. (Which they can't)
There are positions saying as long as the drawing/sculpture isn't revered, then it's ok. But drawings are easily replaced by sports, reading, etc so I try to avoid it all. It's not a huge sacrifice.
It's one of the most severe punishments.
I am going to be straightforward with you:
Question 1) Is that photo socially unacceptable?
Answer 1) I suppose that depends on your society and if you are in a relationship or would like to be?
Question 2) Is this awkward and cringy?
Answer 2) Unless you are a Japanese 14 year old in Japan who is already "waifu" material, then yes, it is cringy/awkward.
On one hand, I want you to post it so that people could weed you out as the cringy kid, and on the other hand, I applaud your efforts and seeking advice in order to avoid an unwanted ordeal.
TL;DR: Depending on how much you care for your social status and how many friends of both genders you have that are just as weeaboo as you, then don't post any anime shit. 90s Cartoons are okay because it's nostalgic and hip for the millennials.
>facebook
I mean, it's better than using your actual photo, I guess.
Don't. I can't imagine how anyone can have a hard time deciding this. Never mix private with public life, unless it's worth it.
Yes irs fine nobody fucking cares its just facebook grow up.
You do understand, don't you, that that isn't a photo and that isn't a real live person.
Good advice
Well well I'm avoiding it
