Why aren't there a dozen threads about this? If senators were trying to push even the smallest gun regulation, you'd be screeching for weeks about MUH CONSTITUTION. Well here's a direct fucking attack on the Constitution and there is barely a goddamn peep. If you're not going to put as much effort into killing this bill as any gun reform, you can stop calling yourselves "originalists" or "constitutionalists" from now on.

>The Senate measure, which has a House companion, is part of a broad push to undermine support of BDS in both the U.S. and Europe, often conflating the boycott with anti-Semitism. According to the activist group Palestine Legal, which monitors anti-BDS legislation across the country, as of June 2018, 25 states had enacted laws punishing businesses that choose to boycott Israel. In 2017, one city in Texas even required businesses to certify that they would not boycott Israel before receiving hurricane aid.
>The Israel Anti-Boycott Act, which was introduced last year by Sen. Cardin (D-Maryland) and Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, would amend the 1979 Export Administration Act to allow penalties for companies who join boycotts of Israel called for by international institutions — like the United Nations or the European Union. The new version clarifies that people cannot face jail time for participating in a boycott, but the ACLU has argued that it still leaves the door open for criminal financial penalties. Defenders of the bill say that it is strictly aimed at preventing companies from facing pressure to boycott Israel and that it is not meant to restrict an individual’s free speech.
Despite pic related, opposing gun control is still socially acceptable. Publicly opposing Israel is how you get on the Mossad and ADL radar. It's a great way to get ostracized and have your career ruined, all thanks to lunatics like Patrick Little.
Absolutely based opinions my MAGAbros! I LOVE Israel!

Let it pass. It would be a great talking point for introducing normalfags to the JQ.

Most Americans are averse to the idea of censorship, don't let msm astroturf you into thinking otherwise. If this passes, jews will UNIQUELY be protected from boycott, and that's a good thing!
the law would be struck down by SCOTUS but would be great to show people who rules over them

I'll immediately begin spreading awareness of this using my diverse portfolio of sockpuppets and I beseech others to join me in doing so

Funnily enough, the boycott ban would effect jewish owned US businesses that, for whatever reason, may be passionate about Israel. What are feds gonna do to individuals, force me to buy hummus at checkout?
This wouldn't even pass the senate let alone the house. Despite blowing Israel, we've still got a lot of constitutional conservatives who would not allow it.

Because this is a good thing from a tactical perspective in the short term. Americans getting prosecuted through these laws will be the biggest wake up call imaginable to the wider public, and since most "Boycott Israel" types are leftists, the "costs" are mostly outsourced. When people wake up, the law will be repealed and the momentum can be harnessed to target other Jewish supremacist policies while people are aware.
Ofc it's very much a risk - reward game. Even if most of the risk is bore by leftists, "Hate speech" type laws are definitely not a good thing to have around long term (although accelerationists probably won't care).
At the end of the day the only real question that needs to be asked is: why? For the normies, just ask why this is a thing. Why.

Holy shit that's got to be the manliest non-man I've ever seen.

>Just this week, Paul placed a hold on a bill that is designed to counter the “boycott, divestment and sanctions” movement, congressional staffers confirmed. That movement urges companies and countries to penalize Israel through boycotts and other means over its treatment of the Palestinians. Rubio is also a lead sponsor of that legislation, which has plenty of bipartisan backing. Based Rand

>Because this is a good thing from a tactical perspective in the short term. Americans getting prosecuted through these laws will be the biggest wake up call imaginable to the wider public Remember when the Patriot Act was a "big wake up call"? Remember when letting the banks get off scot-free was a "big wake up call"? Remember when Wikileaks exposing US war crimes in Iraq was a "big wake up call"? Remember when the US government suspending habeas corpus was a "big wake up call"? Remember when the mass surveillance by the NSA, GCHQ, and other Five Eyes agencies was a "big wake up call"? Remember when the TWENTY-FIVE STATES THAT ALREADY PASSED THIS LEGISLATION were a "big wake up call"?
I swear to Christ, you guys remind me of the jihadi in Four Lions who supported bombing a mosque to cause Muslims to "rise up".

I agree that it shouldn't have to be this way. However, where would we be today without these wake-up calls/new normals?
