It’s not about machines killing the animals, or even the animals dying—it’s about the horrible conditions they live in on typical factory farms in the US. Think of how ridiculous it is in a country with the first amendment that we have “ag gag” laws that prohibit filming what goes on in these places. Suomifag—you’ve obviously never had a pet bird, because there’s no way you’d be saying chickens aren’t sentient. They sure as shit are capable of suffering, and they suffer tremendously on these farms, both the ones made into meat and the ones that law eggs. If you don’t want to go vegan, at least do your best to buy from farms that treat the animals decently. Sure, you have to do a bit of research and pay more, but it’s a small cost for not torturing hundreds of conscious beings. Better yet hunt and bag your own meat. All this is to say nothing of the effects on our medical system from the antibiotics these animals are pumped full of which then means those antibiotics lose efficacy and humans can no longer use them. And if you live anywhere near a factory farm, you know how disgusting they make the air and water for tens of miles in every direction. Also, fuck China, soulless bugs. Chinks don't feel anything, literally nothing. It's not a problem if you kill a chink, it only becomes a problem if you don't pay their family for killing that person.
