In modern America it's a holiday celebrating Capitalism. The state has made it illegal to celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday

Why would that be a challenge? It sure as hell isn't muslim or hindu. Whether the majority of people on earth even care about the religious aspect or not is a different story. It's a consumer holiday mostly in America - probably a lot of white places. To avoid religious overtones, marketers turn to frosty the snowman and santa claus to pitch their sales. While both are honestly just as fictional as jesus christ himself, they don't distinctly convey religion, so even those with no religious affiliation may celebrate with their friends and boost profits. Granted, those with strong opposing religious convictions or other views that don't include being a slave to marketers (Judaism, Islam, being rational) aren't likely to celebrate anyway because they won't be easily fooled into being festive and blowing their money on bullshit just cuz it's that time of year again.

You do realize that this is a perspective, not an empirical fact, right? Ideologies are only comparable based upon an individual's desires, so even those who claim to want an ideology of meekness and servitude are still serving their desires, because their perspectives are as such that that particular lifestyle would please them in some way, fulfill their desire to be pure in some way intellectually, or spiritually, if you prefer. To someone who would choose a liberal perspective, christianity wouldn't necessarily suit their plans for themselves or their future, so the ideologies contained therein don't BTFO anything to that individual. Nothing about it would even register as a compelling challenge to someone without that mindset. It really only appeals to someone searching for that.
